SWIFT IN HELPING OTHERS

The beautiful and stylish songstress has quickly made her way into the hearts of teens and teeny boopers alike. They may love her for her music and dressing sense, but there is much more to admire about the lady. For instance, the fact that she has been named as one of the most generous celebrities for four years in a row.

In 2012, First Lady Michelle Obama had conferred The Big Help Award on her for her charitable endeavours. Causes that she had supported or endorsed include upliftment of disadvantaged youth, awareness about sexual abuse of children, literacy, mental health issues, human trafficking and a host of others. The number of charities she has been associated with is also huge. These include PETA, Wish Upon A Star, Red Cross, Clothes Off Our Back and Feeding America among the many.

She has also performed in various events whose proceeds have gone to charity. T-Swift has given up several of her personal belongings to be auctioned off for charities, too. In her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has even named a section in it as The Taylor Swift Education Center since it was made from donations given by the musician.

The best thing about her work is that Taylor often exhorts all the “Swifitans” to do good for others. Even at a towering height of 5’11’’, Taylor Swift sure is taller than most humans can be. In case you are among the new fans of the lady, we can provide you a starting point for doing good. Check out the causes we support on this link, and start making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
